Arkansas Trip #2

Because I have a really hard time getting all this to line up properly, I will tell this part from here and let you scroll down and see the pics. Once we left the "slave house" we went to the park that is near by to Nate & Aimee's house for a round of frisbee golf. At first I was (I have to admit) skeptical about the whole thing (since the "gang" I work with seems to enjoy it) but I actually found it fun, once I got the hang of it (and I didn't even need the booze and drugs!!) I really loved it when I started out-doing the "pros" that had taken me (I always love it when I feel superior :-). Actually I have to be truthful, when it came to consistency Nate had that, Aimee was great at the close stuff (get within 15 or 20 feet and she almost never missed!), but when it came to great lead-off throws I was king (just I couldn't get it in from there and usually ended the same as the others).

Oh well, I really enjoyed the games and am hoping to get out and try it up here, once the snow melts in another 3 months!!!!! Well after playing for a while we decided to go over to Wattensaw Bayou and try to find some wildlife. We didn't have any luck finding deer in the refuge. Oh course once we were outside the refuge we saw 3 deer (well Aimee and I saw them, not sure if Nate did). We also got to see the gorgous sun set.

Sunday we spent at Bible Church of Little Rock. No, Cam they didn't introduce me to any "cute" girls, they had nursery! :-)) The message was great (any message by Lance Quinn is bound to be good). Then we went back for the evening service and listened to Todd Murray's concert. Todd was sick that night, but he still made it sound better than anything most of us could sing! Well, its that time again, guess you will have to wait another month for another post!!! :-)) Till then!

Arkansas Part #1

Well because I am on dial-up I will post pics of my trip in steps. Here is phase one.

This is me sitting {uncomforatable in an airplane} leaving New Hampshire and the snow behind,

Then there was the Washing DC airport, from the air (we did eventually land with a one big "bump" in the ride--made it interesting).

But finnaly we landed in flooded Arkansas. The Arkansas river was right up to the edge of the airport.

Finnaly home (actually this was the next morning).

Then Saturday it was on to the wrok house with the slave driver pushing us on!!!! Nate insisted that we work on the house (actually he said we could do what we wanted and he was going to work on the house-but the truth isn't as much fun!!) We just chose to join him, it actually was kinda fun!

What the Crazy Fisherman Hasn't been catching!!!

Well, now that I have figured out this posting stuff, I figured I would post some pics of what fishing has been like this winter. So here are a few of them. (And yea, I have only caught junk fish!!) At least the views on the lake are kinda cool-the fishing sure hasn't been!! But, it really stinks when my partner is the only one catching fish (though there was some consolation in the fact it was only a junk fish also !!!!) Well, now its on to Arkansas and hopefully some real fishing (or so Nate tells me!!) Anyway, once I have those pics I'll post them, till then keep a tight line!

My Car (for Joanna :-) )

Well here it is! A picture of my Car for Joanna!! :-) Actually I have tried this three times and with dial-up it stinks!! Oh well, maybe in the future Maine will get with the twenty 1st century and we will get DSL (one can only hope!)
