My summer

I thought that since I haven't posted all summer I would post some pics of my latest fishing adventures. Dad, Mom, Uncle Kern, Aunt Corby, and most of their kids, and myself all spent Labor Day up to Chain of Ponds camping. Ahh, three days of fishing bliss! Anyway here are some pics of the fish we caught. I actually got Kern, Wes, & Zech to go fly-fishing on the North Branch of the Dead River. Umfortunatly only Kern found sucess, though I did manage to get Zech a fish in the stream up by camp--took forever fo him to get the hang of it! Poor Wes just could'nt hook um. Better luck next time.

New Car???

Check out the Wheels!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

New Home

Well here they are, the long awaited pictures of my new house. I'll try to tell what each one is along the way. 1st is the linen closet and toilet in the master bath. 2nd is my bed room off the master bath--looking toward the dining room. Then you look back through my room toward the bath. 4th is looking down past the small built-in desk outside my room toward the living room. 5th & 6th are living room/dining room pictures. Next you are looking back toward my room across the living room and into the kitchen/dining room. After that you are looking down the hall (past the "study") toward my room. Then there is another picture of the master bath tube--not sure why it oped in there, but these don't organize well on dial-up.
Then there are a couple of outdoors pictures one looking out across my field, and the other looking back across the lawn toward the road (or actually they are the other way around-but I would rather type more than go back and correct what I have said in error). Then we go back inside {confused yet!} the first is the entrance to my basement, and the other is the entrance to the house-through the wash room-and the another of the kitchen/dining room area. Then we are back outside again looking up the drive. The rest are just some other shots of the trailer and out building. Well, I figured while I was at Mom & Dad's I had better post some pictures of my sister-in-law ;-)) was going to get upset!! :-)) Just kidding Jo!! Anyway hope this gives you and idea of where I live. Once I get it all organized I post some more. Some day I need to post some of this year's fishing exploits. Guess that will have to wait!! Catch ya later!

Arkansas #5

Well here is my last Arkansas post (time to catch up with the summer!) We rented a boat while I was down there and went fishing in that. It was a little hairy at first with the water rising and the wind blowing at about 15 mph, but we managed. We finnaly found a few fish to bite and yes Aimee caught the most and the biggest {that day!}. The other two were Nate and I trying to get a little more fishing in before we went home-we each got one last fish-which was good. The last two are of Gene & Linda's new home. The place was awesome!! It has deer all around it (we saw 10 while we were there), a pond with fish in it, and it is very quiet. I hope to visit in the future. Well there was a lot more we did and a lot more pictures {almost 300 to be exact} but you will have to come visit if you want to see them. Till next time, keep a tight line!!!

Arkansas #4 {AT Last Fish!!!}

Here we are getting ready to go catch the big one. {Aimee insisted on getting a picture of her "professional" looking fishing brother--only in looks, but that picture had to be flipped and I don't know how to do that, so I figured this would sufice!} Anyway, the salamander was the only cool creature I got to see down there, no snakes, {oh yea I did see a deer, but I see those here as well.} Then I got into the fish. The first fish I caught, and consequently the biggest, I did not get a picture of because I dropped it before Aimee could take it. Hence the reason that my next fish I photoed in the water and then kept it in my net until I had a picture. The others are just some pics of where we fished. The last is of my inpressive fire I got going while the two sleepy heads slept the morning away. I was the only one to enjoy it. Oh well, till next time! Catch ya later!

Arkansas Part #3

Well, here is some more of my trip to Arkensas. The order is a little messed up because I was tired of playing with them. These first pics are to show what I traveled next to on the way up, yup, I was stuck next to all that. Actually it was kinda cozy. On the way home {later} I found it great for nap taking. The other pics are of the dam on Gears Ferry Lake. (Oh, I forgot the one with the two smoochers in it, course I made sure it {the smooching} wasn't on my film!) There is a couple of pics of our camp site (of course backwards). The picture of the "mountain" Cam will find interesting because it is called Sugerloaf Mountain. Of course it doesn't compare with Sugerloaf USA back here in Maine, but we have to humor our southern neighbors :-)). The funny thing was that all the stores were named after it. Oh well, thats all for now catch ya later! {One of these days I'll actually get to what the crazyfisherman caught!}

Arkansas Trip #2

Because I have a really hard time getting all this to line up properly, I will tell this part from here and let you scroll down and see the pics. Once we left the "slave house" we went to the park that is near by to Nate & Aimee's house for a round of frisbee golf. At first I was (I have to admit) skeptical about the whole thing (since the "gang" I work with seems to enjoy it) but I actually found it fun, once I got the hang of it (and I didn't even need the booze and drugs!!) I really loved it when I started out-doing the "pros" that had taken me (I always love it when I feel superior :-). Actually I have to be truthful, when it came to consistency Nate had that, Aimee was great at the close stuff (get within 15 or 20 feet and she almost never missed!), but when it came to great lead-off throws I was king (just I couldn't get it in from there and usually ended the same as the others).

Oh well, I really enjoyed the games and am hoping to get out and try it up here, once the snow melts in another 3 months!!!!! Well after playing for a while we decided to go over to Wattensaw Bayou and try to find some wildlife. We didn't have any luck finding deer in the refuge. Oh course once we were outside the refuge we saw 3 deer (well Aimee and I saw them, not sure if Nate did). We also got to see the gorgous sun set.

Sunday we spent at Bible Church of Little Rock. No, Cam they didn't introduce me to any "cute" girls, they had nursery! :-)) The message was great (any message by Lance Quinn is bound to be good). Then we went back for the evening service and listened to Todd Murray's concert. Todd was sick that night, but he still made it sound better than anything most of us could sing! Well, its that time again, guess you will have to wait another month for another post!!! :-)) Till then!
